H.O.P.E.

 We have a variety of kittens, both shorthair and longhair available for adoption.  

ASHLEY is a 3 year old spayed female with a nice medium-haired coat. She is a friendly girl that gets along with people and other cats but is also content sitting in a sunny window.

BERT is a 2 year old light orange tabby shorthair. He is an energetic cat that won't be a cuddler, but will provide you with a lot of love and hours of entertainment. 

BINX is a 3 year old neutered male black shorthair. He was abandoned on H.O.P.E.'s doorstep. He is a very playful guy that would prefer a home without other cats.

ANGEL is a 1 year old spayed female Siamese mix that was surrendered. She was an only cat, so she's adjusting to being in the Cat Room. She is a beautiful cat that is affectionate when she feels safe.

CAMMY & SAMMY are 3 year old spayed female calico's that were found stray. They are shy but friendly cats that would do best in a home together and without any other dominant pets. SAMMY is a little bit more sociable than CAMMY.

CHEETO is our office cat and sometimes the first to greet you as you walk in the front door. Technically he is available for adoption, but you may find it difficult to fill out the paperwork as walks all over it. It probably would be best to choose another companion

CADBURY is a 2 year old male brown Tabbty that was found stray near the Country Club in Ironwood. He is a friendly, vocal kitty that is sociable and longing for your attention.  

FAITH is a 2 year old spayed female light tortoiseshell shorthair with an independent personality. She can be a bit bossy with other cats around, but when alone she does like the attention. 

FRECKLES is a 2 year spayed female brown and white Tabby that was found stray. She is a somewhat quiet cat that enjoys her comfy bed and would make a nice lap cat for you.

HARLEY is 3 year old neutered male that was found stray in Ironwood. He is a friendly cat that is a bit shy at first. He gets along with some of the other cats. 

 LEXY is a 2 year old spayed female gray shorthair. She came to the shelter as a stray in Bessmer. She is still adjusting to the shelter life, but loves to be pet and is becoming very sweet.She would prefer to be in a one-cat household.

HECTOR is a 3 year old neutered male tabby that came to us as a stray. Previously an outside cat, Hector is getting used to staying inside and learning to get along with the other cats. One-on-one he is a nice cat.

 HONDA is a 2 year old neutered male that was found keeping himself warm under a car in our parking lot. He is a friendly cat with a sleek black coat.

JONZY is a 2 year old spayed female longhair that was recently surrendered. She is a curious cat that's not looking for trouble, but for a lot of FUN!
ADOPTED!! 

LAYLA is a 2 year old spayed female shorthair. She gave bith to 5 kittens this past summer and now is waiting for her chance to find that special home. She is a quiet, loving cat.

NERMEL (think Garfield's friend) is a 2 year old neutered male brown Tabby shorthair that was found stray in the Saxon area. He is very friendly and talkative. He likes to be held and cuddled.  

PATRICK is a 1 year old neutered male gray shorthair. He came to the shelter with his brother JORDAN. They are both a little scared still but are friendly and love to be pet. They get along well with each other.

MIA is a 2 - 3 year old spayed female shorthair with a unique face and a quiet, reserved personality. She would fit in well in a quieter household. 

PIP is a 1 year old neutered male shorthair that was found with frostbit ears in Wakefield. He enjoys the company of people and would make a fine companion.

SANDY is a  3 year old spayed female shorthair that was found stray. She is quiet and somewhat shy and would prefer to be the only cat in your household.

SAXON is a 2 year old neutered male
orange Tabby / Manx mix that was found stray in Saxon (aren't we original?!) He is a unique cat with a quiet disposition who
likes attention and gets it with his
unique look.

SUGAR-RAY is a 4 year old neutered male shorthair that was left to fend for himself in the wild. He tries to be  socialable with the other cats even though they don't want to be. Despite signs of living the hard life, with a little TLC he would make a nice companion.

JORDAN is a 1 year old neutered male gray shorthair. Like his  brother PATRICK above, he is friendly and wanting to be back in a home safe and sound.

  KIRSTEN is a 2 year old spayed female shorthair that was surrendered to the shelter recently. She is a fairly quiet cat that would adapt well into a family or a single household. 

SMOKEY is a senior cat that was surrendered due to allergies. He is front declawed and is very laid-back. He was the only cat so he would do best in a one pet household.
